A Visual History of Typefaces and Graphic Styles

Received this beautiful new reference book from Taschen today. It’s a collection of scans from letterpress type catalogs from 1628-1900. Text heavy but lacking depth. Best thing, purchase includes access to a website with all the high resolutions scans so you can really check out the details. Here are some of my favorite images. I marked too many to share as favorites and that angry tooth makes me laugh.
