I’m almost through reading The Paris Wife, by Paula McLain. While I’ve enjoyed some of my time reading the novel, it’s hardly been my favorite. Mrs. Hadley Hemingway is just NOT my kind of girl and the writing in this book lacks style and verve just like the main character. This review By Janet Maslin summarizes many of my feelings towards this book more eloquently than I can, so I’ll just leave it at that.
But I am still interested in this time and the people who make up the characters in this story, so here are some picture to visualize by.
